Dr. Scott Buckel is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and started practicing in 2008. 

Dr. Buckel is a graduate of Indiana University with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. He earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. He performed his orthopedic surgery training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and then completed additional fellowship training in shoulder surgery at St. Francis Orthopedic Institute in Columbus, GA.  Prior to starting Buckel Orthopedics PLLC in 2021, Dr. Buckel worked for the orthopedic department at Duke University and Emerge Ortho from 2009-2020.
